Seminars on "Translation - Weaving Words" & "ELT Theories and Methods - An Overview"

Bhooma Veeravalli , an accomplished Poet, Translator, and Principal Executive Director (HR) at the Ministry of Railways, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi, served as the distinguished resource person. Lecture on " Enriching Reading Activities: A Visit to British Council Library"

Dhanalakshmi Report of the event: The PG Department of English organized a lecture on " Enriching Reading Activities: A Visit to British Council Library " in collaboration with the British Council, Chennai, for the benefit of the students. The resource person was Mr. Rubin Sharoon , Senior English Language Teacher, British Council. The event took place in the British Council Library. The speaker started the event with interesting activities. He also explained in detail about the courses offered by the British Council. He also elaborated further on the ways in which the library resources can be accessed. The session ended with students exploring the resources in the library.
