WORLD TOURISM DAY-EXPERIENTIAL VISIT

P.G. Department of English & Litluminary association organized the students for a museum visit at Chennai Egmore museum, to commemorate ‘World tourism day' on 27.9.2022. This museum visit is harmonised by our joint organising secretary Ms. Nandhini Praveen, along with organizing committee members Yuvashree. M and Vignesh. S from 3rd B.A.English. Students explored all the blocks, and they found them highly educational as well as really enjoyable. Art gallery and the block of animal anatomy were the show stealers. The students found the visit to be extremely fruitful.

  Event-Report: The P.G Department of English organized Parent Teacher Meeting for MA English students on 5 th  February 2026   for the even semester of the academic year 2025-26. Parents and their respective wards were requested to attend the meeting between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. The class-in-charges, Ms. Nandhini Praveen and Ms. Raveena Neeraj Kumar of I MA and II MA English discussed the students’ discipline, academic performance, punctuality, classroom interaction, dress code and participation in co-curricular activities with the parents. Parents’ queries related to their wards were clarified. Parents’ feedback was also collected.  Outcome of Event: The PTM helped establish an acquaintance between the class-in-charges and the parents. It helped in understanding students behaviour and performance. It brought out new approaches to solve the problems of the students.

Two Day Life Skills Enhancement Workshop on "Holistic Wellbeing and Resilience"

Date and Time: 10th October 2023 to 11th October 2023, 10:00 am to 1:30 pm Venue: Cauvery Block, Sports Complex, First Floor Faculty Coordinator: Ms. Nandhini Praveen and Ms. Krithika A PG Department of English organised a two-day workshop titled “ Holistic Wellbeing and Resilience ” on 10th and 11th October 2023. The aim of the workshop is to provide adaptive, emotional and positive behaviour that enable students to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The Day 1 (10.10.2023) Session 1 : was commenced with the college prayer followed by Welcome address. Then Mr. J.
