Detailed report of the event:

          The Art Gallery was organised by the PG Department of English on the 17th  of April 2023. The students of both UG and PG participated in presenting their artworks related to literature. The event took place in the first floor, Bhasha Sangam. The gallery was filled with a wide range of arts and crafts, portraying various themes prescribed in the syllabus. Paintings, photographs, poems, and several chart works and models were displayed by the students. There was a sense of excitement as the audience and the faculties admired these artworks. The participants were creative and innovative in conducting games and showcasing their talents.                                            

Outcome of the Event:

The Art Gallery created awareness, opportunities and enhanced the competitive spirit of the students. It also helped in expanding knowledge creatively. The audience were able to interpret the artworks in their perspective. The students were successful in exhibiting their craftsmanship, artistry, dexterity.

  Event-Report: The P.G Department of English organized Parent Teacher Meeting for MA English students on 5 th  February 2026   for the even semester of the academic year 2025-26. Parents and their respective wards were requested to attend the meeting between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. The class-in-charges, Ms. Nandhini Praveen and Ms. Raveena Neeraj Kumar of I MA and II MA English discussed the students’ discipline, academic performance, punctuality, classroom interaction, dress code and participation in co-curricular activities with the parents. Parents’ queries related to their wards were clarified. Parents’ feedback was also collected.  Outcome of Event: The PTM helped establish an acquaintance between the class-in-charges and the parents. It helped in understanding students behaviour and performance. It brought out new approaches to solve the problems of the students.

Two Day Life Skills Enhancement Workshop on "Holistic Wellbeing and Resilience"

Date and Time: 10th October 2023 to 11th October 2023, 10:00 am to 1:30 pm Venue: Cauvery Block, Sports Complex, First Floor Faculty Coordinator: Ms. Nandhini Praveen and Ms. Krithika A PG Department of English organised a two-day workshop titled “ Holistic Wellbeing and Resilience ” on 10th and 11th October 2023. The aim of the workshop is to provide adaptive, emotional and positive behaviour that enable students to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The Day 1 (10.10.2023) Session 1 : was commenced with the college prayer followed by Welcome address. Then Mr. J. Praveen Prabhu felicitated the speaker Mr. Tarun Murugesh , Lifeguard Instructor & Master First Aid Trainer. The speaker shared the importance of Lifeskills training to the students.
