A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Event-Report:
The UG students of the PG Department of English staged William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with great enthusiasm and creativity. The performance took place in the college auditorium and brought to life the magical world of fairies, mistaken identities, and young love. The cast skillfully portrayed the whimsical characters, from the mischievous Puck to the noble Theseus and the confused lovers of Athens.
The adaptation remained faithful to the original while adding refreshing elements of humor and visual flair. The set design, costumes, and lighting enhanced the dream-like atmosphere of the play.
